The memory of Elvis Presley will be brought vividly to life this summer as part of the BBC's commitment to offering a scorching summer of stellar live music performances. In the year the King of Rock and Roll would have turned 75, Radio 2 will bring together some of the the biggest names in music to revive his best loved and most popular songs in Elvis Forever, a concert in London's Hyde Park on Sunday 12 September 2010 hosted by BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show presenter Chris Evans.

The proceedings will be led by Chris Evans and Elvis loving guest presenters, and the evening will include a spectacular firework finale.

This thrilling exclusive concert will be broadcast on Radio 2, and in the following week listeners will also be able to hear highlights on the station's daytime programmes. The line up of stars who will perform at Elvis Forever will be announced shortly.
