New casting announcement! Ray Meagher, best known on television for playing Alf Stewart in the long running Australian soap Home and Away, will join the West End cast of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical as mechanic Bob from 30 September 2010.

TV and stage star Ben Richards dons the glitter make up as Tick/Mitzi, joining Don Gallagher (Bernadette), Thornton (Adam/Felicia) and John Bowe (Bob). Ben is well known from The Bill, Footballers Wives and Holby City. In the West End he has played lead roles in Saturday Night Fever, Grease and Guys & Dolls.

Over the summer (6 June – 5 September 2010) there will be Sunday performances of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical at 3pm.

Based on the Oscar® award-winning film and written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott and directed by Simon Phillips, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical tells the story of Tick, Bernadette and Adam, a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio who agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback.
